Perrysburg 24, Clay 23
Clay's Devin Dominique ran for a 15-yard score in the final minute, but a missed extra-point kick prevented the Eagles from forcing the Yellow Jackets into overtime Friday night.
Steve Slocum and Austin Lee connected on touchdown passes of 9 and 41 yards in the fourth quarter to give Perrysburg (2-0) a 23-17 lead. Slocum was 10-of-24 passing for 134 yards, ran for 168 yards and a touchdown on 21 attempts, and added a 32-yard field goal as Perrysburg rallied from a 17-7 deficit.
Pennington completed 17 of 33 passes for 223 yards and TD passes to Kyle Row and Anthony Ramirez for Clay (1-1). Dominique carried 15 times for 97 yards, as the Eagles outgained Perrysburg 416-321.

Fremont Ross 32, Brecksville-Broadview Hts. 29
BRECKSVILLE, Ohio -- Dylan Starks caught a 60-yard pass in the fourth quarter as the Little Giants 2-0) overcame three interceptions to win a game decided in the final two minutes.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights quarterback Tom Tupa completed 19 of 40 passes for 325 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Paul Karthan caught two touchdown passes, and Carlos Milano the other for the Bees (0-2).
Oakeley Contreras intercepted a pass for Fremont Ross. Quarterback Tyler Wolf, who completed 17 of 26 passes for 126 yards, and added 18 carries for 187 yards.
Orchard Lake St. Mary 47, St. John's 7
The Titans opened their new stadium in tough-luck fashion.
In the first game at Lyden Field, Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary (1-1) opened a 30-0 lead and cruised from there. The visitors piled up 297 rushing yards to the Titans' 38.
Receiver Liam Allen led St. John's (0-2) with seven catches for 117 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown pass from Brogan Roback.
St. Mary tailback Grant Niemec ran for 163 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
Parma Padua 21, St. Francis 14
Senior Michael Wagner scored the Knights' touchdowns and both were two-yard runs.
The Knights took an early 7-0 lead but Parma scored 21 unanswered.
