Perrysburg chorale to hold free concert


Way Public Library will help the Perrysburg Symphony Chorale celebrate its 20th anniversary by hosting a concert at 2 p.m. Saturday. Solo vocalists and instrumentalists from the Bowling Green State University College of Musical Arts will perform works of Mozart, Brahms, Whitacre, and others. Admission is free and refreshments are to be provided.

On Tuesday will be a free showing of Captain Phillips with Tom Hanks at 2 and 6:30 p.m. It is a 2013 film about the first U.S. cargo ship hijacked in 200 years. This showing is for adults only; no reservations are required.
