Hilton Garden Inn participants in national hunger program

The Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg has joined the chain’s national program to help the hungry.

The company is working with the organization Feeding America with Breakfast with Heart, which runs through Sept. 30. When hotel customers book a room with the Breakfast with Heart rate, they will receive cooked-to-order breakfast.

In return, the hotel at 6165 Levis Commons Blvd. will make a donation to Feeding America. The national program has a goal of providing one million meals to families in need.

The special rate has certain conditions, such as weekend nights and the reserved rooms must be used by Sept. 30.
