Construction progresses in Perrysburg Township
Construction progresses on a new Chick-Fil-A restaurant, above, at 10315 Fremont Pike in Perrysburg Township.
Tony Shue of Roddick Masonry in North Carolina lays bricks. When completed, the 4,500-square-foot restaurant, which sits on 1.4 acres, will seat 135 patrons, and employ 65 to 80 workers.
Mike Herrick, the franchisee who currently operates the Chick-Fil-A in Westfield Franklin Park mall, will move his franchise to the Perrysburg site, which is expected to be ready by Nov. 1.
The restaurant inside the mall will remain open, operated by a different franchisee. Chick-Fil-A also is planning a third local store at the northeast corner of Sylvania Avenue and Talmadge Road, outside Westfield Franklin Park.
