Perrysburg Area Arts Council preparing for Rally event

It's only June, but organizers are thinking ahead to September's Annual Harrison Rally Day.

The Perrysburg Area Arts Council is accepting applications for 2012 Rally for the Arts, especially those who are visual artists or make homemade crafts.

The annual event is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 15 in downtown Perrysburg. July 1 is the early bird deadline to pay for a booth, which has a discounted price of $100.

The final deadline, where booth prices increase to $125, is Aug. 1. Eligible artists could win up to $500 in awards, the PAAC said in a news release.
