Perrysburg to host First Friday Talent Show auditions

Downtown Perrysburg Inc. along with Next Stage Studios presents the first ever First Friday Talent Show on Aug. 3.

The theme for the First Friday is “Summer is Hot, School is Cool”. This event will feature fun activities centered on education, our schools, and our area students.

The DPI Gives Back organization is the Perrysburg Elementary Parents' Association. A check will be presented to PEPA during the talent show. The talent show will take place at Next Stage Studios, 25581 Fort Meigs Road, from 6:15 to 7:15p.m. The show will consist of 30 acts of singing, dancing, acting, comedy, juggling, gymnastics, poetry-reading and more.

Auditions for the talent show will take place on Monday June 25 from 3 to 5 p.m., June 26 from 4 to 6 p.m., and on June 27 from 10 a.m. to noon.

This talent show is open to all applicants who are entering the 3rd through 12th grade. Applicants can range from Perrysburg Schools to surrounding areas.

All applicants must audition their talent on one of  the dates listed. Times are in three-minute intervals. You must sign up for a time prior to June 23.

Please do not attend an audition without signing-up first. Applicants are welcome to present any talents to the judges. Please prepare a one and a half to a two minute act. If you require music for your act, please provide a CD or pre-recorded music cued to the exact cut. If displaying other talents, bring appropriate props or costumes.
