Summer was sizzling and folks were splashing as part of activities during Downtown Perrysburg Inc.’s First Friday, held today from 6 to 9 p.m. in historic downtown Perrysburg.

With the August First Friday theme of Summer is Hot, School is Cool, the event provided children with the chance to drop local teachers and principals into a dunk tank. Students also had the opportunity to collect school supplies through the Pepsi prize machine.
