More than 200 antique, classic cars at show in Perrysburg

Hundreds of people turned out Saturday morning to view classic cars and motorcycles in Perrysburg. Downtown Perrysburg, Inc. presented the 12th Annual Cruise by the River Classic Car and Motorcycle Show. More than 200 antique and classic cars lined Louisiana Avenue in Perrysburg during Downtown Perrysburg Inc.’s 12th Annual Cruise by the River Classic Car and Motorcycle Show Saturday.

Held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event was attended by thousands of people who strolled along Louisiana Avenue and watched as car enthusiasts showed off their polished and finely tuned vehicles.

Music classics were featured along with celebrity announcer Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn from 9 a.m. to noon.

Spectators hungry for some car show food could grab a bite to eat at stations featuring the Perrysburg Exchange Club and Jeanie’s Weenies.

The 12 Annual Cruise by the River Classic Car and Motorcycle Show is sponsored by Ed Schmidt Automotive Group, First Federal Bank, the City of Perrysburg, Signature Harley-Davidson, Kingston Residence of Perrysburg, Skotynsky Financial Group, Edward Jones Financial, Big Daddy Graphics, All Star Trophy, Waterford Bank N.A, Casa Baron, Fricker’s, Melchior Building Co., and Welch Publishing Co., according to Downtown Perrysburg Inc.
