A daylong conference showcased American Sign Language storytelling, taught about deaf culture and how to become an interpreter at Owens Community College today.

The event ended with a two-hour comedy show where comedians used American Sign Language in their stand-up routines.

The conference ran from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Perrysburg Township’s campus’ Audio/Visual Classroom Center.

The comedy show took place at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre.
