Two-day festival under way at Islamic Center

Cultural exhibits, center tours, ethnic food, cooking demonstrations, a bazaar, craft activities, games, camel and pony rides, and a petting zoo are being featured during the two-day, 12th annual International Festival.

It runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, 25877 Scheider Rd., Perrysburg Township.

It is free and open to the public.

Festival-goers can sample an exotic delicacy, learn something new about the Muslim faith, or try out a four-legged desert mode of transportation.
