There will be more than two dozen world champion professional and amateur ice carvers competing for prize money.

More than 50 ice carvings sponsored by area businesses and organizations will line both sides of Louisiana Avenue for public viewing.

On the first night, Feb. 22, between 6 and 10 p.m., there will be a Micro Brew Tasting, featuring 24 specialty beers in a heated tent on West Second Street at Louisiana. There will be free food, music and ice carving demonstrations.

Tickets are $10 and include eight free microbrew tastings. There is also the opportunity to reserve a table of 10 for $120.

On Feb. 23, a Saturday, from 6 to 10 p.m., there will be more than 24 specialty wines featured, music, a Taste of Perrysburg by area restaurants, and the National Ice Carving Awards ceremony. Tickets are just $25 each and include unlimited wine tasting. Table of 10 can be reserved for $250.

Also that day, there will be crafts, entertainment, and performers on Louisiana Avenue. The professional and amateur ice carving competition will take place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
