If I ever go back to Casa Barron, it will be for the fried ice cream.
This sweet treat slathered in honey and chocolate sauce was a good way to end an otherwise iffy experience my family had there recently. It may have been a fluke, considering how many people say they enjoy the Mexican restaurant in Perrysburg's historic downtown.
The entrees were served LAVA HOT. I expected that from my shrimp fajita fixings, but by the time the cast iron pan made it from the kitchen to our table by the front window, I could smell the peppers and onions scorching.
