Winterfest leads weekend events
Comedy, sports, LEGO activities also available
Winterfest activities will be going on all weekend in downtown Perrysburg along West Second Street and Louisiana Avenue.
On Saturday, Louisiana Avenue will feature family activities, including crafts, entertainment, and performers such as Chortie the Clown and Cindy Slee. Perrysburg High School Art Club will help with children's arts and crafts in a heated tent on West Second and Louisiana from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ice carving will take place throughout the day. At 10 a.m. an amateur ice-carving competition begins while the professionals will come out at 2 p.m. Roughly 50 ice sculptures will on on display downtown. On Sunday, the public will have a chance to vote on its favorite ice sculptures from Sunday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Friday and Saturday night microbeer and wine events are sold out.

COMEDY
At the Funny Bone Comedy Club, 6140 Levis Commons Blvd.: DeRay Davis who has been in several comedy films such as Semi-Pro, Scary Movie 4, Barbershop 1 & 2, and 21 Jump Street. He will preform Friday at 8 and 10:30 p.m.; Saturday at 7 and 10 p.m., and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
AT THE LIBRARY
From 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, teenagers can show off their LEGO skills in the Youth Activity Center at the Way Public Library.
