Way Public Library will be having its biggest book sale of the year during Harrison Rally Day on Saturday.

The Way Public Library Foundation and Friends organization hosts six used book sales per year, and the Harrison Rally Day sale brings in the most books and people.

"It takes up the entire lower-level," said Janel Haas, library director. "We will have a dozen volunteers to host the hundreds of people that will come."

Thousands of books will be for sale, including a great selection of new and used children’s, juvenile, young adult, and adult fiction and nonfiction titles. History, science, art, gardening, cookbooks, inspirational, business, biography, literature, and classics are other categories on sale Saturday. A large variety of DVDs and music CDs will be available.

The book sale hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m

Harrison Rally Day has a parade and festival in in downtown Perrysburg the same day.

Books are sold by the bag which will be provide at the sale. It is $15 for a large bag, and $5 for a small bag. There will also be individual items available. All proceeds go to Way Public Library.

"We are hoping to raise $3,000 or $4,000," Ms. Haas said. "With the energy of Harrison Rally Day it gives a different slant on the book sale with a more fun environment. People are in the shopping mood, it is a big day for Perrysburg."
