The three-hour class, which cost $30 a person, taught people how to make scarves from a spray bottle, bubble wrap, and a yard of light-colored fabric. Some may use the resulting product for a hand-made Christmas gift. Sara Box led the class.

There will be a needle-felted sphere class from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the foundation to help create ornaments, Waldorf-style doll heads, and other items.Registration is required.

Classes at the 577 Foundation can be found by visiting www.577foundation.org/takeaclass.asp.
