'Downton Abbey' producer has book talk in Perrysburg

The mastermind behind PBS's hit shows Downton Abbey and Masterpiece, Rebecca Eaton, was in Perrysburg on Sunday talking about her memoir and meeting with area residents during a book talk and signing.

Her book signing was at the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons.

WGTE-TV, a PBS station, hosted the event that was based around her memoir called Making Masterpiece: 25 Years Behind the Scenes at Masterpiece Theatre and Mystery! on PBS. Ms. Eaton has 42 Primetime Emmy Awards, 17 Peabody Awards, two Golden Globes, and two Academy Award nominations.

She served as the producer for Downton Abbey, Sherlock, and Masterpiece.  

Her 320-page book was published late last year and divulges some secrets behind her shows.
