Blade reporter kicks off new Perrysburg blog

Twenty-two years ago, I was reluctantly born a Michigander after my entire family had been born in the great state of Ohio.

I have just begun my career with The Blade and I was gratefully able to escape Michigan and begin covering Perrysburg, only 40 minutes from Findlay, where my whole family is from. I do appreciate some fun things like lakes and winters from Michigan, and my family (little brothers and step-parents are from Michigan and they are wonderful), but I am excited to be here.

I want to learn everything about this community and be able to tell you about the things, events, and most importantly the people who live here. I want to learn about what type of fish are in the Maumee River, who are the top athletes at Perrysburg High School, and what is the latest news from city council.
