When I park my car, I have a mental checklist of steps -- bring my keys, lock the doors, and put the windows up or cracked for air.

With the slew of automobile break-ins and stolen items from cars in Perrysburg a couple of weeks back, there is a new concern: theft.

Locking your car is one thing, but it doesn't help if your window gets bashed in. Reading through police reports and writing stories on cars getting windows bashed in around town has changed my perception of leaving things in my car.
