BOWLING GREEN — Two Perrysburg men were indicted this week by a Wood County grand jury for the shooting of a man in the Perrysburg Heights neighborhood.

Damien Owens, 20, was charged with felonious assault and attempted murder stemming from the Jan. 8 shooting of Alec Castillo, 19, of Perrysburg Heights near Gloria and Broad streets in the Perrysburg Township community. Richard E. Owens, 48, was indicted for complicity to felonious assault and attempted complicity to murder.

The charges against Damien Owens include multiple specifications, including allegations he used a firearm to commit the crime.
