The big event in downtown Perrysburg this weekend is First Friday, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m.

This month’s theme is “Get Fit and Have Fun.” The activities are tailored around a healthy-living theme, which include a basketball shoot-out at 6:15 p.m., a one-mile race at 7:30 p.m., and an 8:15 p.m. Zumba dance competition.

Visit ice cream or frozen yogurt stores which are abundant in Perrysburg. Go to Twisty Treat, 750 W. Boundary St.; Mr. Freeze, 627 W. Boundary St.; Yogurt Vi, in Levis Commons, or Lola’s Frozen Yogurt, 26597 N. Dixie Hwy.
