Perrysburg transit supporters to meet for levy campaign

Perrysburg transit supporters, who are organizing a levy campaign for November, will meet for the second time.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 18 at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg, a senior-living facility at 333 E. Boundary St. in Perrysburg.

City officials have pledged to place a property tax property proposal on the November ballot to fund an independent transit system. City voters in March approved opting out of TARTA, the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority.
