The scorching heat caused Perrysburg to cancel two summer sports programs that are held outside, City Administrator John Alexander said today.
The two recreations programs were "Punt, Pass, and Kick" and "Baseball Encounter."
Those programs could potentially get canceled again this week, if the weather gets too hot, he said.
"The recreation staff will monitor conditions," he said.
Parents can contact the public service department at 419-872-8020 to see if the two outdoor programs get canceled later in the week.
