Rae Ann Carothers went to the Hollywood Casino Toledo, perhaps to win some money.

Instead, when she went back to her Perrysburg Township hotel room, she discovered she had been robbed of some of her valuables, including her late husband's gold rings.

Ms. Carothers, 68, of Clyde, Ohio, was staying at the Holiday Inn French Quarter, 10630 Fremont Pike, when she reported the alleged crime.

She left for the casino around 6:30 p.m. and returned back at the hotel around 12:30 a.m. when she noticed the rings and two Herkimer Quartz crystals were missing from her cardboard jewelry box, she told police.

Police, who released the police report Monday, do not have any suspects or witnesses in the incident that was reported May 24.
