Gun reported fired in Perrysburg; ends up being rabbit shot

Police were called to a home about a weapon being shot off.

Turns out, it was a pellet gun.

A man shot a rabbit with a pellet gun in the backyard of a residence Friday in the 700 block of Oak Knoll Drive, according to a police report released today.

Perrysburg police warned Thomas Burkebile, 49, of Perrysburg, that using any weapon in the city is against the law.
