Perrysburg Township police to conduct enforcement blitz

BLADE STAFF

Using grant funding, Perrysburg Township police will be conducting a selective enforcement blitz through the end of the month.

Township officers will be targeting U.S. 20, State Rts.795, 65, 25, and Oregon Road through Oct. 31. Officers will be looking for impaired drivers and enforcing traffic laws and monitoring speed and seatbelt violations throughout the township.

The additional hours worked by officers will be funded by a $42,085 grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety/Governor's Highway Safety Office in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
