Shooting investigated in Perrysburg Township

The shooting of a 19-year-old man in Perrysburg Township remained under investigation Thursday.

Alec Castillo, whose address was not released, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition. He was shot twice about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday near Gloria and Broad streets in the Perrysburg Heights neighborhood, police said.

The motive was not released.

Police arrested Richard Owens, Jr., 47, and Damien Owens, 20, both of Perrysburg, and charged them with obstructing official business. Police did not say whether the pair were suspects in the shooting.
