CPR class available at Way library

Course capped at 20 people, costs $40 at registration


A CPR certification class is set for Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Way Public Library and will teach how to relieve adult choking victims. The CPR, AED course-completion cards will be valid for two years. The class, limited to 20 people, costs $40 at registration, which must be done in advance at Way Public Library’s information desk.

Also set is a free workshop on online catalogs from 1 to 2 p.m. and again from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The class covers online searching, reserving, and renewing library materials, viewing account information, and accessing the Ohio Digital Library. No registration is required.

Thursday at 2 and 7 p.m. the library is to show The Butler, the 2013 film about a White House butler. It is for adults only; no reservations required.
