Two Perrysburg Township detectives have been demoted for internal violations and another was terminated in separate incidents.
The terminated officer‘s name wasn’t revealed because there is an appeal process taking place that should be over at the end of July.
Detective Sgt. Jim Gross and Detective Scott Moskowitz were demoted to road patrol after internal violations which township Deputy Police Chief Michael Gilmore declined to disclose on Tuesday.
Neither demoted officers did anything criminally wrong, Mr. Gilmore said.
Officer Moskowitz will not take a pay decrease moving from detective to road patrol but officer Gross will have a pay cut because he was bumped from sergeant to officer.
The department has eight patrolmen, three sergeants, and six dispatchers.
