Chris Harper, Fort Meigs Elementary guidance counselor, has been selected for the Perrysburg School’s Golden Excellence Award for the month of May.

She was recognized for this honor at the May 21 evening Perrysburg Board of Education meeting. Chris received a gift certificate for a local restaurant, donated by Hans Griffioen of the Griffioen Agency.

The Golden Excellence Award recognizes school employees who go above and beyond the call of duty. Each month the district chooses an employee from co-worker nominations who best illustrates excellence on the job. Chris was nominated by the Fort Meigs Elementary staff.
