Perrysburg school officials get break on repaving

BLADE STAFF

The construction project to repave the Perrysburg High School parking lot will cost nearly $25,000 less than what school officials had expected.

The Perrysburg Board of Education received only one bid for the project, which is expected to start at the end of June. Bowshers Asphalt, a Walbridge firm, bid $76,800 to complete the project. The district’s budget estimated the repaving to cost about $100,000.

The issue was brought up at a school board work session last week.
