Grandmothers and grandparents spent time with their grandchildren during a special Grandparents’ Day celebration event at Woodland Elementary today. Held from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m., the event was a follow-up to the national Grandparents’ Day on Sept. 9.

All fourth-grade teachers and students were invited to take part in the event.
