Perrysburg Schools’ 8th Grade Orchestra will present a free public concert for all senior citizens and retirees in the community at 10 a.m. on Oct. 16.

It will be in the Perrysburg Jr. High auditorium at 550 East South Boundary St.

It will feature movie themes, fiddle tunes, pop tunes, patriotic music and light classics.

“All seniors citizens in the community are invited and encouraged to attend,” stated Phil Smith, junior high school orchestra teacher. “After the concert, there will be a mixer with refreshments for the students and senior citizens to promote a connection between the schools and our senior community.”

Overflow parking will be available at the Country Charm Shopping Center in the rows closest to South Boundary Street. There will be a Perrysburg Schools Bus Shuttle starting at 9 a.m. and rotating each quarter hour.

For more information, please contact Phil Smith, junior high orchestra teacher, at 419-874-9193 or psmith@perrysburgschools.net.
