Owens graduates 500 in December ceremony

More than 500 students from the Perrysburg Township and Findlay campuses of Owens Community College received their degrees Friday. An evening ceremony was held in the Student Health and Activities Center on Biniker Drive, Perrysburg.
Keynote speakers included Katherine Fell, president of the University of Findlay, and Chelsey McMillan, of Monroe, a registered nursing student chosen to represent her Owens graduating class.
Owens Community College offers associate degrees in agriculture, business, health sciences, public safety and emergency preparedness, skilled trades, and engineering and transportation technologies.
