Perrysburg cheerleading team heads to state competition

The Perrysburg Competitive Cheerleading Team competed well enough last weekend at the regional tournament at Anthony Wayne to qualifying for the state competition.

This is the first year for the team, and they will be traveling on March 3 to St. John's Arena at Ohio State University on to compete for the state championship.

Team members include Hannah Bakies, Paige Baumgartner, Maddie DeLong, Alex Dowell, Amber Dunbar, Nicole Eli, Abby Finch, Rachel Hess, Elise Hummer, Hannah Ireland, Zoe Kusnier, Erin McConnell, Haley Riddle, Sami Jo Roberts, Jessica Schmalzried, Kayla Shadler, Evie Tammerine, Courtney Upton, Raegan Vickers, Morgan Walczak, and Kim Wimer.
