Test drivers benefit Perrysburg High athletics
Auto dealer donates money to school program
To raise money for the Perrysburg High School athletic department, the school teamed up with a car dealership for a fund-raiser Thursday evening.
For everyone who test drove a new car and then took a short survey, Charlie's Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram donated $20 to the district.
Some Perrysburg residents, like Jackie and Norman Gray, weren't in the market for a new vehicle but took a a Dodge for a spin to help out the school.
The event ran 6 to 9 p.m. at the junior high on the eve before the region's all-star football game.
The game features about 80 seniors from 50 high schools in northwest Ohio. Kickoff is 7:10 p.m. Friday at Perrysburg's Steinecker Stadium.
