Members of the 180th Fighter Wing will be special guests at the football game Friday, Sept. 7, between Central Catholic and Perrysburg.

The game marks the second time that Central and Perrysburg have ever played each other.

At the game in Perrysburg, the school district will pay tribute to the 180th Fighter Wing members, who will be guests at the tailgate gathering in the north end zone before the game. The Perrysburg High School band will play the melody of the armed services fight songs.

After the game, there will be a fireworks show in honor of the military personnel, the district said.

In addition, Perrysburg Schools is hosting all elementary students from the Perrysburg community. Those students will be allowed in the tent in the north end zone to meet and receive autographs from the members and coaching staff of the Yellow Jacket football team.
