Volunteers sought for events put on by Downtown Perrysburg Inc.

Downtown Perrysburg Inc., a nonprofit organization, is seeking people to help with its events.

Whether you are an individual, private, public and/or non-profit organization, part of a political and/or issue campaign, or even just a group of neighbors that just want to find a way to be part of your community, Downtown Perrysburg Inc. has a place for you.

Those volunteering can become involved in summer First Friday, Rock the Docks, Winterfest, and Pumpkin Carving events. Participants will be able to chose which job and time slot to select from a list of openings.

Volunteers are needed now to help at out at Rock the Docks event on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 7 p.m. to midnight. Duties include working the check-in table, checking identification, securing wrist bands, and serving beer. Shifts are 7-8:45 p.m., 8:45-10:30 p.m., and 10:30-12:15 a.m.

Rock the Docks will conclude Harrison Rally and will feature live music by Velvet Jones, dancing, and beverages.
