Perrysburg Schools seeking jacket donations at Yellow Jackets football game Friday

PERRYSBURG SCHOOLS

When the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets host the Southview Cougars on Friday, there will be more than a football game.

The athletic department and student council will sponsor "Jackets Giving Jackets," an event that encourages those in the Perrysburg community — students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and other community members — to bring a new or used jacket to the game at 7 p.m.

Volunteers will donate these jackets to those in Perrysburg and the surrounding areas that will need them the most this winter.

During these difficult economic times, the success of the event will be great for the community. Please bring your jacket donations to the ticket booth at Widdel Field at Steinecker Stadium and show your support for this worthy cause.
