Penta Career Center to host Cruise-In Car Show

The Automotive Technology programs at Penta Career Center will host a Cruise-In Car Show on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The event is 5 to 8 p.m. on the Penta campus at 9301 Buck Rd., Perrysburg Township.

All types of vehicles and motorcycles can be brought, and vehicle owners are admitted free of charge if they bring non-perishable food items to donate to Perrysburg Township’s annual Operation Bread Basket drive. 

For more than 25 years, the township's Fire and Police departments have sponsored Operation Break Basket to assist families in the community.

Other activities at the car show include music and door prizes such as car care kits, gift certificates and products from several Penta programs. Some vehicle award categories include People’s Choice, Best Muscle Car, Best Street Rod, Best Truck, Best Custom, Superintendent’s Selection, and Best Motorcycle.

Food available for purchase will be from Deets BBQ.

Tours of Penta’s Automotive Technology programs will be available.

The event is organized by Penta’s Automotive Technology programs and SkillsUSA, a leadership organization for career-technical education students.
