Area businesses help Frank Elementary School with Garden Day

Frank Elementary School hosted Garden Day on Saturday to create mulch beds of plants and shrubs around the newly renovated wings at the school.

The major contributors to this project at 401 W South Boundary St. were:

■ Andrew Kramp, who owns Easily Green. He crafted a design plan and brought equipment, mulch, top soil, stones, and some shrubs.

■ Lowe's provided more than 100 plants/shrubs and about six or seven volunteers who helped.

■ About 25-30 Frank community individuals who helped.

“We replaced the gravel that surrounded our building with a new and fantastic look,” Principal Brent Swartzmiller said. “Andrew Kramp estimates that it would have been close to a $10,000 job. We are so grateful for our team of volunteers.”
