Perrysburg High basketball team holds annual Run with the Jackets

Perrysburg High School basketball players ran 3 miles Saturday at Woodland Park, not just to condition for running up and down the court but to meet and greet some of their youngest fans.

Elementary school students in the district were invited to the annual Run with the Jackets, during which they could run or walk a portion or all of the 3-mile course.

Coach Dave Boyce introduced the team and participants had the chance to get their autographs, take home T-shirts and pocket schedules for the season.
