Perrysburg man injured in snowmobile accident

OAK HARBOR — A Perrysburg man was in serious condition Monday at a Toledo hospital after a snowmobile crash Sunday in Ottawa County.

Earl Weidner II, 35, was at the University of Toledo Medical Center, former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, after the crash along a Salem Township road.

Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies reported a 911 call at 12:33 a.m. about a crashed snowmobile off Vogel Road. When deputies arrived, the vehicle was found to be heavily damaged, and the victim was flown by medical helicopter to Toledo.
