5 roadways targeted in enforcement blitz

Perrysburg Township police will conduct a selective traffic enforcement blitz through Nov. 24.

Officers will target U.S. 20, State Rts. 795, 65, and 25, and Oregon Road.

Township officers will be working additional hours, funded by a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety/Governor’s Highway Safety Office in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Officers will look for impaired drivers, enforce traffic laws, and monitor speed and seat-belt violations throughout the township.

The grant period runs through September, 2013.
