Passion for flowers blooms in Perrysburg Township shop

Mary Eckhart works on a holiday-themed bouquet to show a bridal client Tuesday afternoon at her shop, Country Mouse Flowers, in Perrysburg Township. 

Ms. Eckhart decided to start the business this year because she loves working with flowers. She creates everything from wreathes and floral arrangements to grave blankets. 

Despite having a full-time job at Wal-Mart, Ms. Eckhart says it has been a worthwhile endeavor thus far. 

"I like to be creative," she said. "It's just been relaxing to me."
