18th annual South of the Border Festival

The Perrysburg Community Heights Association held its 18th annual South of the Border Festival Friday, Aug. 10 and Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012. at the Jefferson Street park. The event raised money for the community center, a nonprofit that offers free programs such as sports camp for children, game night for seniors and medical care. The festival's proceeds will go to the community center. Though the goal is to raise 25 thousand dollars for the center, at the start of Saturday they had managed to raise about two thousand dollars.
