'Going the Extra Mile' fund-raiser

The "Going the Extra Mile" fundraiser was held to help recuperate a portion of the $91,000 missing from the Perrysburg Elementary Parents Association and Toth Parents Club for the 2012-13 school year. The event was held Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. CLICK ANY IMAGE TO VIEW FULL PHOTO, START SLIDE SHOW.

Zachary Shultz, 11, of Perrysburg, center, makes his way to the finish line of the mile run during the Going the Extra Mile fundraiser Saturday morning in Perrysburg. The event's goal is to help recuperate a portion of the $91,000 missing from Perrysburg Elementary Parents Association and Toth Parents Club to provide funding for the 2012-2013 school year. The event included a mile run/walk, live music courtesy of the Perrysburg Marching Band, a raffle and games. Shultz crossed the finish line second in the run.
