Owens Crime Scene Investigator Youth Camp

Owens Community College in Perrysburg hosted a Crime Scene Investigator Youth Camp this week. The camp runs from Aug. 7 to 9 for 13- to 17-year-olds. Macomb Police Chief Greg Smith, who is also an instructor at Owens Community College, said the aim of the course is to help teens become familiarized with the use of forensic science in crime solving.
