Southview students test cardboard boats

Southview engineering students tested the seaworthiness of their cardboard boats on the lake at Olander Park in Sylvania, Friday, May 17, 2013. Students have worked as teams to design and build boats out of cardboard and tape that will hold their weight in a test across the lake. Boats will not only test their weight and water-bearing capacity but will also compete against each other. CLICK ANY IMAGE TO VIEW FULL PHOTO, START SLIDE SHOW.
